The traditional event of the Alanya Christmas Market will last two days. It is one of the nicest and most colourful days in Alanya.
The Alanya International Christmas Market, organized by the Alanya Municipality, will take place on December 7th and 8th. This year, the event will feature performances by renowned artists Ömür Gedik and Baran Aktan, along with DJ Kadir Çetin.
Now in its 14th year, the Alanya International Christmas Market will be held behind the Municipality on Saturday, December 7th, and Sunday, December 8th. The market promises to be a vibrant celebration filled with colourful events and concerts, attracting thousands of local and foreign visitors over the two days.
The International Christmas Market will feature colourful stands representing the diverse cultures of the citizens living in Alanya. Visitors can enjoy food, beverages, clothing, and souvenirs, all infused with the spirit of the New Year. The festival area will host a variety of dance and music performances, with artists from different nations promoting a message of brotherhood and peace in this multicultural city.
Special sections for children will also be available, including beloved characters like Santa Claus and playgrounds, allowing families to enjoy a delightful weekend together at the festival. Additionally, well-known artists will be taking the stage at the International Christmas Market.
On the first day of the event, DJ Kadir Çetin will perform at 6:30 PM, followed by popular artist Ömür Gedik at 7:30 PM, who will serenade the audience with his wonderful songs. The excitement will continue on the second day with Baran Aktan performing at 7:30 PM.
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik invited all citizens to the Christmas Market, which will feature a variety of colourful activities. Mayor Özçelik stated, “We are opening our Christmas Market, a beloved tradition in Alanya, for the 14th time this year. We have prepared a vibrant and engaging program for our citizens. The Christmas Market will provide an opportunity to experience different cultures, and we aim to send a message of unity and solidarity to the world from Alanya, a place where we embrace love, respect, and tolerance. I invite all residents, along with local and foreign guests, to join us at our carefully planned Christmas Market.”
