Ryanair to Launch First-Ever UK Flights to Turkey This Winter – Fares Start at £30

Budget airline Ryanair is set to introduce its first-ever flights from the UK to Turkey later this year. The airline will operate two new routes from Stansted, London, to Bodrum and Dalaman, Turkey. Ryanair will begin these exciting new flights this winter.

The budget airline began flying to Turkey in 2018, offering routes from Bratislava and Dublin. Now, six years later, British holidaymakers will have the opportunity to travel to Turkey with this airline.

Flights to Bodrum will depart from London Stansted at 6:45 AM and arrive in Turkey at 12:35 PM local time. Return flights will leave Bodrum at 1:35 PM, landing back in the UK at 2:40 PM.

One-way fares will start at just £29.99, with flights scheduled to launch on December 1.

Bodrum is often referred to as the "St. Tropez of Turkey" due to the luxurious superyachts moored in its bays. The city features a beautiful promenade and designer shops at every turn, attracting the rich and famous. A-list celebrities such as Mick Jagger, Kate Moss, Tom Hanks, and Bill Gates have all been seen vacationing in Bodrum.

Ryanair will begin its services to Dalaman on December 2, 2024, one day later than originally planned. Flights will depart from London Stansted at 6:00 AM and arrive in Turkey at 12:50 PM. Return flights will leave Dalaman at 2:45 PM, returning to the UK at 3:45 PM.

Dalaman is renowned for its famous attraction, the rock tombs of Fethiye, which are carved into the impressive cliff faces. In addition to this, Dalaman boasts a stunning coastline lined with beach hotels, such as the 4-star Holiday Village AQI Turkiye and the Sunway Hotel.

Next year, Sun Express will also begin operating flights from Newcastle to Dalaman.
