Gazipasa-Alanya Airport officially open now

Flights to and from Alanya-Gazipasa Airport (GZP) and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) are running Monday to Friday with Borajet Airlines with seats available for sale from 105 Turkish Lira.

TAV Airports took over the operation and development of the airport under a 25-year contract that runs until 2034. The terminal has capacity for 500,000 passengers a year, and is expected to service growing demand for tourism in the Antalya region. The region’s main airport is Antalya International, managed by a partnership between Fraport and Turkish group IC Ictas.

On August 21, 2007, TAV Airports Holding was granted the right to operate Gazipasa Airport. The company bid a yearly lease of US$50,000, with 65% of operational revenues going to the government.
